Hi: We're here signing your guestbook. We arrived at your site while looking into our 8-year-old, male berner's skin problems. Chazy tore his right rear ACL last March and had no hair grow back on his leg for several months. He went on thyroid supplementation. His hair grew back. Now he's losing hair on his back and shoulders. Hair there is brittle. Skin is dry but scaly, a bit scabby. Our vet checked his T3 & T4 (marginally high) levels and put him on a 10-day course of antibiotics (2500 cc per diem cypro)for a skin infection. We're not sure of much improvement, but any improvement would probably take some time to become evident. We're starting to look through the house for allergens. His new dog bed stuffed with cedar chips, his breath mints, his Pet tabs, Armstrong's tile floor cleaner, and Biospot rather than Advantage, are all changes in his farm and country environment over the past year. He's always had a sensitive stomach, even to Lamb and rice diets, so he's always been on Iam's Adult Chunks with boiled hamburger. We're gonna quit the Pet tabs and breath mints and replace his cedar stuffing with pine chips. Anyway, thanks for letting us sign your guestbook. Regards, Susan and Ron

Hi Robin, I have just brought home my BMD Pup called Cosmo. I am using your site to look up vaccinations becuase I do not want to over do it and it has been awhile since I have had a puppy. actually i have a ? for you and i dont know if you can help me but i thought i could ask my 7month old berner is losing hair on his ears and the vet doesnt know what is wrong first he said allergies now he isnt sure do you have any idea what is going on i mean it can jsut be a suggestion you dont have to have the right answer. thanks chelsea
